More than 100 historic buildings from all parts of Switzerland, over 200 farm animals and old handicrafts: at Ballenberg you can experience Switzerland with all your senses.

Take a look inside the parlours, kitchens, dining rooms and bedrooms and transport yourself to the everyday life of times gone by. Over 30 different crafts come to life in the Ballenberg workshops. Try your hand at one of the hands-on stations, go get up close and personal with our farm animals or enjoy a cosy stop in one of our homely inns on the museum grounds.
